Hollywood 1920s

This Artwork was created on bright white medium tooth surface 70 lb. drawing paper. The Art was sketched with pencil. The ink was then applied to establish the lights and darkness. Pencil was then applied last to create gradients and details. This Artwork represents Hollywood back in the day. The roaring 1920s had many Model Ts flowing through the streets. There was a time where California was new. Early California History dealt with many challenges creating new building, railways, and new mass transit. I wanted to capture that moment in time. It is a reminder that we have come a long way in our advancement in cultural evolution.
